Vendor compliance expertise since 1993!

From 2003 through 2007 I was the Supply Chain Consultant to the National Marine Manufacturers Association.  In this capacity I led the supply chain standardization initiatives and communications between accessory manufacturers, distributors, retailers, and boat builders involving barcode labeling and electronic document transactions.  I developed technical and end-user documentation, attended and presented at various committe meetings and events, and provided knowledge leadership.  I was also asked to take leadership of the marine industry's Marine Data Exchange initiative, a custom-developed EDI exchange for marine industry trading partners.

From 2008 through 2011 I was a member of the U.S. retail industry's trade association (Voluntary Interindustry Commerce Solutions) as a member of its newly formed Trading Partner Alignment & Compliance committee.  I conceived of and developed a revolutionary six-part supplier/vendor education series which, at no cost to retailers, was designed to educate both new supplier/vendor entrants to retail and existing disruptive trading partners with the belief that an educated supplier/vendor is a less-costly trading partner.
